Two persons were abducted and killed by suspected ultras of People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) in naxal hit Khunti district, police said today.
The ultras abducted the two from Sondari village under Torpa police station on the intervening night of January 4 and 5 and shot them dead, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ) Purusotham Singh.
Singh said the bodies were recovered from the jungle today.

The victims were aged around 22 years and the reason behind the killing was yet to be ascertained, he said.
According to the villagers the victims had links with the ultra group and were suspected to have been killed for snapping ties with it.
