Two police officers injured in accidental firing

The gun of a constable went off accidentally injuring the Officer-in-Charge of Goreswar police station, Brajen Hazarika, and his deputy Naren Das when they, with other police officers were at a picnic, police sources said.

Hazarika was admitted in a critical condition to the Guwahati Neurological Research Centre in Guwahati, while Das was shifted to a local hospital, they said.
