Police have arrested two robbers who looted a collection agent earlier this week and recovered weapons and intoxicating substances from their possession.
Ashu and Deepak were intercepted by police yesterday night during routine checking when they got suspicious of the duo's movements near a private school.
"Upon frisking, police recovered one country-made pistol, a live cartridge and Rs 75,000 cash and intoxicating pills and powder from their possession," SHO Ummed Yadav said.

"During interrogation, they confessed to robbing two persons last month in which they looted nearly Rs 5.3 lakh," he added.
Among their victims was the collection agent who was robbed on July 6 when he was returning home after collecting the installments of chit fund committee, police said.
"Ashu is hardcore criminal and around 32 cases were registered against him in Loni and different police stations of Delhi," said Yadav.
Both have been sent to jail.
