Two siblings drown in Dal Lake

four-year-old girl and her brother, a year older than her, drowned in Dal Lake here today, police said.

The siblings were playing outside their house at Gaadi Mohalla locality in Rainawari when the girl, Sakina, accidentally fell into the water, a police spokesman said.

Five-year-old Asif jumped in to save Sakina, but both drowned and their bodies were later fished out by a rescue team, he said.
