Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and Kiren Rijiju will tomorrow undertake an aerial survey of landslide-affected areas in Manipur where 20 people lost their lives.

Singh, Minister for Development of North Eastern Region and Rijiju, Minister of State for Home, will also take stock of rescue and relief operations with the state government officials at a meeting to be held in Imphal, official sources said.

Two teams of NDRF, consisting of about 50 personnel, have been deployed in Manipur's Chandel district where 20 villagers were swept away in landslides on Saturday.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also spoken to Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh over phone and assured him of all central assistance to deal with the situation arising out of the massive landslides in Chandel district.
