Two US police officers dead, five injured in Baton Rouge

A gunman killed at least two police officers and injured at least five more in Baton Rouge, Louisiana today, local media reported.

Several of those injured were reported to be in critical condition.

"The scene seems to be contained right now," Baton Rouge police spokesman Don Coppola told television station WAFB.
