Two youths die after falling in ditch

Two youths lost their lives after falling into a water-filled ditch in East Champaran district today and drowning, police said.

The incident took place near Chandrahiya village when the two youths were crossing an under construction bridge.

Govindganj Station House Officer (SHO) Arun Chaudhary said the two youths lost their balance while crossing the under-construction bridge, slipped and fell into a water filled ditch below and drowned in it.

Chaudhary said their bodies were retrieved from the ditch with the help of local villagers.
