Uber launches new ride option 'Premier' in Kolkata

App-cab services company Uber today launched 'Premier', a superior ride option at affordable fares, in the city.

The in-app product option is an upgrade to its current uberX experience. The service is currently available in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune, the company said in a statement.

Arpit Mundra, General Manager, Kolkata, Uber, said in the statement, At Uber, we strive to make every ride a great experience. With a focus on building products that will go further in replacing the need for personal mobility options, Premier has been devised to deliver on rider expectations for in-city rides that takes the core experience further.
 

With Premier, one can expect rides in select, high-comfort, economy-range sedans that will be driven by best-in-class driver partners endorsed by riders at affordable prices, the company said.
