An unclaimed box near the bus-stand here created a flutter for a while but bomb squad personnel thoroughly checked it and found no explosives, police said today.
The box was found last night and police, suspecting a bomb, put up sand bags around it and asked people to disperse.
A bomb squad checked the bag this morning and found no bomb but only some materials connected with private company agency, police said.
Police traced the man who left the box and warned him, sources said.
