Undertrial dies at hospital

A 25-year-old undertrial lodged at Arthur Road jail today died at a hospital where he was admitted for treatment, a senior police official said.

Ashok Shinde was admitted to J J Hospital in the city last night due to stomach problems and low blood pressure.

He was arrested in a robbery case. The body has been sent for autopsy and the cause of death would become known only after the report comes, the official said.
