Undertrial dies in Muzaffarnagar jail

A 55-year-old undertrial prisoner lodged in district jail here allegedly died after suffering from a brain hemorrhage recently, police said.

Rampal had few days back suffered from brain hemorrhage, from which he had recovered. However, yesterday he again took ill and was shifted to a district hospital where he was declared dead, Jailor Mizajilal said.

Rampal was accused of killing his wife in 2009 in Shamli.
