Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel has requested President Pranab Mukherjee to unveil busts of revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru at the House premises on March 23.
"The Speaker has written to Mukherjee to unveil the busts of revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on March 23, the day of their martyrdom, in the Assembly complex," an official said.
The Delhi Assembly Speaker said that the House had cleared the proposal of installing the busts of three revolutionaries at the House complex last year.
Meanwhile, Goel has also decided to organise a workshop of Delhi MLAs in order to ensure that the upcoming Budget Session, starting from March 22, is 'effective'.
"Experts from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha will train Delhi MLAs about the budget and questions to be asked during the session," Goel added.
