UP: 2 kids drown in pond

Two children drowned while

taking bath in a pond in Katiamau village in Kachauna area here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when Mayank (10), Rajani (12) and Vishal (11) were bathing in the pond and slipped into deep water, they said.

All three were rushed to a hospital where Mayank and Rajani were declared dead while Vishal's condition was stated to be stable.
