Thirty three ministers and over 350 Uttar Pradesh legislators have not yet provided their income and assets despite a clear directive from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, according to a state Assembly notification.
Soon after taking over as the state chief minister in March, Adityanath had asked his ministers to declare their income as well as movable and immovable properties within 15 days.
He had asked them to submit their declarations to the CM secretariat also.

However, according to a vidhan sabha notification, as many as 359 of the 403 members of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly who have so far failed to declare their assets.
The notification, 679/VS/Sansadiya/20(S)/2017, is dated July 10, 2017, Vidhan Sabha sources said.
Chief Minister Adityanath had issued the directions regarding declaration of assets soon after coming to power as corruption was a major issue during the UP polls.
However, several lawmakers, including ministers, failed to comply with the directive despite a reminder on April 13.
Among those yet to give the details of their assets are eighteen cabinet ministers, eleven ministers of state and four ministers of state (independent charge).
According to the Uttar Pradesh Ministers and Legislators (Publication of Assets and Liabilities) Act, 1975, it is liable on the part of ministers and members of the state Assembly to declare their assets within three months of assuming office or being elected.
The MLAs who have failed to declare their properties include leading opposition figures as well.
Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary (SP), leader of the BSP legislature party Lalji Verma and Congress Legislature Party leader Ajay Kumar Lallu, senior leaders Shivpal Singh Yadav, Azam Khan are among those yet to provide the details, according to the notification details.
The ministers who have declared the assets are Suresh Khanna, Ramapati Shastri, Laxmi Narain Chaudhary, Mukut Bihari, Suresh Kumar, Dharam Singh Saini and Jai Singh Jackie, vidhan sabha sources said.
