Uttar Pradesh Congress today held dharna at all districts to protest the brutal Maoists attack in Chhattisgarh in which party leaders were killed.
Congress state chief Nirmal Khatri led the demonstration in the state capital and handed over a memorandum addressed to President to the district magistrate demanding dismissal of Chhattisgarh government.
He alleged the Chhattisgarh government of failing to provide adequate security to the party's Parivartan Yatra.

Terming the Chhattisgarh government as a "failure" on the law and order front, he said it did not deserve to remain in power.
President should immediately dismiss the Chhattisgarh government, Khatri said.
Similarly, demonstrations were staged by district and city units of the party all over the state.
