Metals trading firm Ushdev International posted 78.22 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 102.61 crore in the fourth quarter of last financial year.
Net sales of the city-based firm, which is engaged in trading of metals and power generation, also increased 73.94 per cent at Rs 5,233.51 crore during this period against Rs 3,008.83 crore reported a year ago, the company said in a statement.
For the whole financial year, the net profit rose 65 per cent at Rs 208.14 crore against Rs 126.34 crore reported in the same period of previous fiscal.

Net sales stood at Rs 12,961.6 crore, up 45.90 per cent compared to Rs 8,883.6 crore in the same period previous year.
"We have maintained robust growth for another financial year. The net profit has nearly doubled with significant contribution from our overseas subsidiaries," company's Vice-Chairman Prateek Gupta said.
