Vice President, PM pay homage to Dave

Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid their last respects to late Environment Minister Anil Dave whose body was kept at his official residence here.

Several Union ministers including Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu, Smriti Irani, BJP patriarch LK Advani and senior leader Subramanian Swamy, also paid homage to Dave, who passed away this morning.

Modi visited Dave's 11, Safdarjung Road residence around 3 PM and paid floral tributes to his departed colleague.

The late minister's body was being ferried to the airport, from where it would be flown to his hometown in Indore.
