Vizag: accused in fake degree certificate racket found dead

Mamaidi Murali Krishna, a prime accused in a fake certificate racket, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his car near a petrol pump on the National Highway-16 at Yendada on the outskirts of the city today.

Murali Krishna (39) ran Mamidi Global Education and HR Solutions in Dwarakanagar area here. He was arrested by the police on December 10 for alleged involvement in a racket which provided fake degree certificates of various universities.

He was given bail on December 24.

Inspector S Appalaraju said the cause of death would be known after autopsy, but it could be a case of suicide as he was debt-ridden.
