A wanted miscreant was
arrested along with two carbines and several cartridges from a place on NH 57 near Mabi police station in Bihar's Darbhanga district, police said today.
Kartar Singh alias Upendra Singh Thakur, arrested last night, is wanted in at least six cases of murder, besides loot, dacoity, firing and other crimes, district senior superintendent of police Satyavir Singh said.
He is also charged with killing his uncle, Singh said.
Two carbines, two magazines of carbine, a country made pistol and 165 cartridges of nine mm, two magazines of pistols, two mobile phones were recovered from his possession, SSP said.
