WB chief minister greets people on Navratri

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today greeted people on the occasion of Navratri.

"Greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Navratri," Banerjee wrote on her Twitter handle this morning.

Navratri, which is celebrated across the country, begins today and will end after nine days.

It is celebrated four times a year and the autumn festival, Sharad Navratri, is considered as the most auspicious.

It is observed in honour of the feminine divine power.
