Weather conditions grounds chopper, Lalu on train to Sahibganj

Cloudy weather conditions today grounded the helicopter, which RJD supremo Lalu Prasad was to take from Ranchi to Sahibganj to address election meetings tomorrow ahead of the fifth and final phase of polling in Jharkhand on December 20. He boarded a train, instead.

"Laluji came to Ranchi by helicopter. Due to cloudy weather conditions the chopper didn't take off and he boarded train, which will reach Sahibganj around 1 AM," RJD Jharkhand unit spokesman Manoj Kumar said.

The former Bihar chief minister, who will address election meetings in Sahibganj, had a minor surgery a month ago.
