The weather in Bihar today was mainly dry but Gaya which was the hottest place in the state sizzled at 42.8 degree Celsius.
The weather remained mainly dry in Bihar today, the Meteorological centre here said in a bulletin.
Gaya sizzled with the maximum temperature of 42.8 degree Celsius while at state capital Patna, the mercury touched the 41.4 degree Celsius mark.
Bhagalpur and Purnea registered maximum temperature of 39.2 and 37 degree Celsius respectively.
The weather will remain partly cloudy over the next 48 hours, the Meteorological Centre said.
