The weather in Rajasthan remained mainly dry today with Sriganganagar recording a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.
Light rainfall occurred at isolated places in Jodhpur division, according to Met department here.
Kota was hot at 41.4 degrees Celsius, Pilani recorded a maximum of 40.1 degrees C while Bikaner and Churu registered a day temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, it said.
Other stations recorded maximum temperature of below 40 degrees Celsius.
The weather conditions are likely to remain the same during next 24 hours, the MeT department said.
