Weather in West Bengal continued to remain pleasant today with Asansol recording the maximum temperature at 38.9 degrees Celsius.
Asansol recorded the day's highest temperature in the state at 38.9 degrees Celsius, while neighbouring Bankura was a notch lesser at 37.6 degrees Celsius, the Met department said.
Kolkata recorded the maximum temperature at 36.5 degrees Celsius.
