The Meteorological office today said weather will remain dry over Uttar Pradesh and heatwave condition is likely over isolated places in southern parts of the state.
Maximum temperature hovered at around 37.7 degrees Celsius in state capital Lucknow, while minimum temperature remained at 24.7 degrees Celsius, it said.
The office said the sky will remain clear and maximum temperature will be 39 degrees Celsius.
Jhansi remained the hottest place in the state, with mercury reaching 43.8 degrees Celsius, almost four degrees above the normal. Etawah saw a high of 40.2 degrees Celsius, it said.
