Wheat slips on ample stocks

In restricted activity, prices 5 per at the wholesale grains market today on adequate stocks position against reduced offtake by mills.

However, other grains held steady in thin trade.

Traders said sufficient stocks position against subdued demand from mills mainly weighed on prices.

In the national capital, dara (for mills) weakened by Rs 5 to Rs 1,760-1,765 per Atta chakki delivery followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 1,770-1,775 per 90 kg.
