A day after publicly hectoring Mehbooba Mufti, AAP minister Kapil Mishra today wrote to BJP chief Amit Shah asking him the "compulsion" behind jointly running the Jammu and Kashmir government with "terrorist sympathisers".
Mishra wondered why Pakistan was not being declared a "terror state" by India and the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status given to it revoked.
"Where did BJP's tall claims on nationalism and patriotism go? Such a big compromise for power? This is a betrayal with the country. Imagine how it mentally affects our soldiers when the CM does not consider their adversaries as terrorists at all," Mishra's letter said.

Needling the BJP for having "taken up" the responsibility of certifying people's patriotism, Mishra accused the saffron party of branding Biharis who don't vote for it as "Pakistanis", Dalits who raise questions as "traitors" and Adivasis fighting for their rights as "anti-nationals".
"I posed my questions to Mufti and BJP felt the pain. Why? Will BJP answer these questions? On one hand soliders are fighting terrorists, and on the other you are standing with their sympathizers.
"Why are you not declaring Pakistan a terror-state by calling a special session of the Parliament? Who is stopping you from revoking the MFN status to Pakistan?" Mishra asked.
Yesterday, chaos prevailed at an event attended by Union Minister Mahesh Sharma and J&K Chief Minister Mufti when Mishra asked her if she considered Burhwan Wani and Afzal Guru as terrorists, inviting protests from her entourage.
