Widow kills stepson with aid of paramour

A widow, along with her paramour, strangulated her 8-year-old stepson to death after the child objected to their relationship in Shahajad Nagar area here, police said today.

Vidya (45), and her paramour, Cheda Lal (50), were arrested by police and crime branch sleuths last night after body of the child, Akash, was discovered hanging from a tree in the area yesterday, Superintendent of Police, Sadhna Goswami said.

Akash was murdered by the duo in a nearby forest as he was opposed to their relationship, the SP said.
