Wife axed to death by husband in Alwar

A 42-year-old today allegedly killed his wife by attacking her with an axe in Alwar district, police said.

Kalu Mev used to suspect his wife, Rahisan Mev (35), following which they had a heated argument and in a fit of rage, he repeatedly attacked her with the axe, they said.

The woman was seriously injured and rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared her dead, the police said, adding, the accused was been arrested.
