Wife injures husband in Palamau

A man was seriously injured when he was attacked with sharp weapons allegedly by his wife at Bihara in Palamau distirct, police today said.

Ravindra Prasad was attacked when he was sleeping last night allegedly by his wife who was suspected to have an illicit relation with a local youth, police said.

Hearing his screams, other family members rescued the man and took him to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi.

Prasad's wife is absconding.
