Will be in delivery room when Lauren goes into labour: Cowell

Media mogul Simon Cowell says he would be standing by his girlfriend Lauren Silverman when she gives birth to the couple's first child next year.

Lauren, 37, who is the estranged wife of Cowell's friend Andrew Silverman, is due with the 'X Factor' boss's child in February, reported Contactmusic.

"I will be in the delivery room, but I'll just try not to look too far down," Cowell said.

When asked if he will cut the baby's umbilical cord himself, Cowell said, "Are you mad? I'm not good with all that blood and guts stuff."

Cowell, had previously said he will not be watching his girlfriend deliver their baby.
