Maharashtra minister Pankaja Munde today said she will develop the birthplace of Bhagwan Baba, a spiritual leader, at Savargoan village in the district.
Munde, daughter of late BJP leader Gopinath Munde, was addressing the Dussehra rally at Savargaon village.
The rally usually takes place at Bhagwangad in Ahmednagar district, but since the district administration did not give permission this year, Munde conducted it in Savargoan village.

"I will develop Bhagwan Baba's birth place and will set up his statue at Savargoan," announced Pankaja.
Stating that the RSS Dusshera rally takes place in Nagpur, Shiv Sena's annual Dusshera rally is held in Mumbai, Munde said only her rally at Bhagwangad was not given permission.
Reportedly, Munde and Namdeoshastri, the Mahant of Bhagwangad are at loggerheads. He had warned Munde of not holding a rally at Bhagwangad, despite the minister's written request to him.
