Woman beaten to death by daughter-in-law

A 45-year-old woman was beaten to death allegedly by her daughter-in-law over a family dispute in Shamli district today.

Sabra was beaten to death by her daughter-in-law Shama (21) over some family dispute. The victim died on the spot, Circle Officer Nishank Sharma said.

"The victim had been confronted by Shama earlier on family issues," he said.

The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered against her. The body has been sent for postmortem, Sharma said.
