Woman burnt to death in UP

A 55-year-old woman was allegedly burnt to death by unidentified miscreants when she was alone in her house at civil line area here, police said today.

The incident happened, when the victim, Saroj, wife of ex-army jawan Narender, was alone in the house. Some unidentified miscreants entered the house and set her ablaze, they added.

Body was recovered and has been sent for postmortem, police said, adding that, further investigation is underway.
