Woman commits suicide with two kids

A woman along with her two minor childrn allegedly committed suicide in a village under Marhaura police station area in Bihar's Saran district, a police officer said today.

The incident took place last night in Semalsarai village where a 35 year-old woman Anita Devi with two minor children, Suman Kumari (6) and Vikas Kumar (2) in tow set all three on fire following a quarrel in the family, the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ashok Kumar said.

They died on the spot, he said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

A probe was on in the matter, Kumar added.
