Woman, daughter found hanging

A woman and her daughter were found hanging from a tree in Badaura village here, police said today.

The body of Rajani Gupta (25) was found hanging from a tree in the village this morning while her one and a half year old daugther's body was also found nearby, police said.

The family members of Rajani alleged that she was killed by her in-laws for dowry and was later hanged, police said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said adding that no arrests have been made so far.
