A 30-year-old woman allegedly set herself ablaze over the death of her husband who had "hanged himself from a ceiling fan" here, police said.
According to SHO Pankej Shaman, the woman was depressed over the death of her husband and took the extreme step at a village under Jhunjhana police station in Shamli district yesterday. Her husband Perdip had allegedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan in the house over some family problems two weeks back
The woman's body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on, he said.
