Woman files complaint against husband

A 28-year-old woman has filed a complaint against her husband for allegedly threatening to kill her and to kidnap her son here, police said today.

The victim registered a complaint yesterday at NIT Faridabad police station against her husband, Dhauj Alam, a resident of Moradabad, alleging that he had threatened to kill her and to kidnap her 9-year-old son if she did not withdraw a case she had earlier lodged against him, police said.

The complainant alleged that her husband had earlier sent indecent messages and threatened to kill following which she filed a complaint on July 3, they said.
 

The couple had filed for divorce two years back.

A case has been registered under sections 294, 354D, 506 and 509, police said.
