Woman gangraped, four held

A woman was gangraped by four persons in the Chowgan area on Thursday night, Superintendent of Police, B M Sharma said.

On the complaint made by the victim, police probed the matter and following the initial clues four persons identified as Pancham, Rahul, Abhishek Rana and Harsh Kumar were arrested today, he said.

The four accused met the woman, who was sick, near Chowgan number-one and asked her to come along with them to a hospital, Sharma added.

They, however, took the woman to an isolated location nearby and raper her, he said.
