Within three hours of alleged kidnapping of a six-year-old boy from here today, city police arrested a woman and rescued the minor, police said.
The woman, whose name has not been revealed by police, allegedly kidnapped Ayan Choudhary from near his house in Sakinaka area of Prabhat Wadi, police said.
"Initial investigations revealed that the accused woman had an extramarital affair with the boy's father and she wanted to teach the latter a lesson over some dispute," police said.

Around 1.30 pm today, the boy's father and the woman had a tiff and subsequently she kidnapped the boy around 3 pm, police said.
She has been booked under IPC section 363 (kidnapping), police said.
