Woman murdered in Rajasthan

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in Barmer district of Rajasthan.

The woman received bullet injury in head when she was at her relative's house in Siwana area yesterday, SP Barmer Gagandeep Singla said today.

She was living with her parents after the death of her husband.

"Her family members have alleged that she was shot dead. However, the initial investigation could not make it clear whether she was shot dead or she died in an accidental fire," he said.

The gun has been recovered from the spot and three persons have been detained from interrogation, he said.

An FIR for murder has been lodged with Siwana police station.
