A local court here today sentenced a woman and her paramour to life imprisonment for killing her husband six years ago.
District and Sessions judge Pankaj Tomar held Babita and her paramour Mangal guilty of murdering Deepak by strangulating him on October 19, 2007 and slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them.
Prosecution produced 11 witnesses in the case against Babita and Mangal, out of which the main witness was her 5-year-old son Sushant.
Sushant told the court that he saw his mother and her paramour strangulate his father, which was also proved by Deepak's post mortem report.
