Woman pushed from 2nd floor over dowry, injured seriously

A 25-year-old woman was allegedly pushed from the second floor of a building by her husband and in-laws over dowry at Bhikhari village here, police said today.

Monika was pushed from the building yesterday. Her husband Manoj Kumar and her mother-in-law Rukmani were arrested today, they said.

The woman has been hospitalised and her condition has been stated as serious, police said, adding the matter is being investigated.

The victim had been married for the last five years but she had allegedly been facing harassment for dowry from her in-laws, they said.
