Woman raped by father-in-law

A woman was allegedly raped by her father-in-law in Kairana town of Shamli district, police said today.

The accused identified as Yamin raped the victim when her husband was not at home. He also threatened of killing her if she disclosed the matter to anyone, they said.

A case has been registered against the accused, said police.
