A 28-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Nithari village, police said today.
The victim, in her complaint, alleged that her neighbour Hemu barged into her house last night and raped her as she was alone at her home, a police official said.
Police have arrested the rape accused today, he said.
Hemu beat her up when she resisted the rape attempt, she said, adding that, he also threatened her to kill if she disclosed the matter to the police, the official said.
The victim has been sent for medical examination, he said.
