Woman run over by train

The woman while crossing the railway track Shiv Nagar area was run over by a goods train coming from Kapurthala, they said.

The woman died on the spot, GRP said adding, her body was taken for postmortem at Sadar hospital.

Locals were being contacted to ascertain the identity of the deceased woman, they said.
