Woman shot dead by unidentified men in Azamgarh

A 48-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead by unidentified men when she opened the door to their knock, police said.

The woman identified as Nargis was shot dead at her residence in Shahpur Nevada village yesterday, SP Dinesh Chand Chaubey said.

In another incident, 45-year-old Ashok Giri was shot dead when he was returning home after closing his sweets shops in Gosainganj bazar here, he said.
