A 22-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband over dowry in Jhalkari Nagar in Uttar area here, police said today.
Arti was strangled to death by her husband Kuldeep at her in-law's place last night, they said.
According to the woman's family members, she was killed by her in-laws as they could not meet dowry demand, they said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, they said.
An FIR has been registered against Kuldeep, they said, adding that he is on presently on the run.
