Woman, teenager son found murdered in house

A 45-year-old widow and her 12-year-old son were found murdered at their house in Mahavidya Colony here today, police said.

Geeta Devi and her son Nikhil were killed by rasping their necks with a file, said SSP Gulab Singh.

The crime was discovered when a relative of the victims came to their house, he said.

"A fringerprint team and a dog squad is working at the crime scene. Property issue could be behind the murders. Geeta Devi was a witness in a murder case and this could also be the reason for the murder," SSP Singh said.
