Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today favoured imparting yoga training to children to make them healthy physically and mentally fit.
"The Cabinet will decide (on the issue) of children getting yoga training in the state," Das said on the eve of International Yoga Day.
Participating in a programme organised by the Yogada Satsanga Ashram here, Das said the government's aim was to make Jharkhand a prosperous state, which could happen when people remain healthy through yoga.
Stating that yoga should not be a day's affair, Das urged the people to make it a part of their daily life.
